They Overcame By the Blood of the Lamb

They Overcame by the Blood of the Lamb
(Rev12:7-12)

God is the Lord of glory.
He is surrounded by glory, and
He gloriously fights, overcomes and conquers.

Faith is longing for Him and,
The life of this faith is with His weapon gloriously fighting and overcoming in the end.

A warfare must be won at all cost for
The victor receives glory and plunder while the defeated faces shame and loss.
Since the important matter in a warfare is the weapon,
The world continues to develop those that are
More fatal, more accurate, longer-range.

The Bible demonstrates many stories of war, armies, fighters, enemies etc
Because of the war in heaven —
The confrontation between the kingdom of Satan with the weapon of death and
The kingdom of heaven with the weapon of life.

Deceived by the serpent
Adam ate the forbidden fruit and was defeated by him.
Consequently Adam was banished from the Garden (Ge3:6, 24) and
Became s slave of the devil, the ruler of death,
Losing freedom and all rights (He2:14-15; 2Pe2:19).

Though without freedom or any right
The Israelites lived as slaves for 430 years in Egypt (Ex12:42),
They left in procession as the army of the Lord (Ex12:41, 13:18) for
They defeated the pharaoh by the blood of the Passover lamb (Ex12:13, 29-31).

The Passover was to be celebrated to commemorate this (Ex12:27) and
The sanctuary was the place where the blood of lamb was shed because
The life of the flesh is in the blood and it is the blood that makes atonement (Lev17:11).

Jesus said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of body,
He would shed His eternal blood to make atonement for all men’s sin (Mt20:28; He9:12).

As He died, Jesus said, “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Glorified the Father who let the Son gloriously fight and seize the throne (Jn10:17-18; He1:2);
2) With His death destroyed the weapon of the devil and tore down the wall of sin (Mt27:50; Jude1:6); and
3) By His blood, His life, delivered those who were slaves of the devil (He2:14-15; 1Pe1:18-19).

With His power of life, He resurrected and gloriously overcame and
Finally ascended the heavenly throne.

The Holy Spirit came with the good news of the blood of the Lamb (Eph1:7) and
Lets the believer know that His blood is in him (1Co2:11).

The man of the Spirit knows that
He possesses the most powerful weapon, the blood of the Lamb.
Therefore, he testifies the blood of the Lamb and
By the blood overcomes all things —
Trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger or sword, sin or even death (Rm8:31-39).

O Lord,
Let me never forget this —
I have the blood of the Lamb!
I have overcome by the blood of the Lamb! Amen.
