All Those He Has Given Me
(Jn6:38-40)

God is the Owner (Ps100:3).
He creates all things and with His right to possess them
He pays the highest price to make them His eternal possession.

Faith is acknowledging Him and receiving the right to possess.
The life of this faith is fighting to death in order to make what God has given as one’s possession.

To be “given” and “given into your hands” refer to the same idea:
While a millionaire father gave his possession to his son,
Without the son’s own toil, effort and fight, it cannot be made his own.

As such, without any toil
The ancestor of mankind, Adam, was given the authority to govern the Garden (Ge2:15-16),
But once he was deceived by the devil and sinned, he lost the authority (Ge3:4-6, 24).

While Abraham received the promise of nations and kings, and a son (Ge15:3, 17:6, 18:10),
Only when he gave his only son as a burnt offering following God’s instruction (Ge22:12, 17),
He received the acknowledgement of his seed.

Until his offspring, Israel, returned to the land given into their hands (Ge15:16; Ex12:41),
They lived as slaves having no possession for 430 years, and
It was because of the stubborn hearts of the Canaanites that
They had to fight to take possession (Dt2:30).

The war history of Israel thereafter was about
Jehovah giving into their hands their enemies to destroy and plunder them (Nu21:2-3; 2Sa5:19).

The temple where the ark of covenant was reminded them of
God’s promise on oath to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Ex12:12-14; Ps105:8-11).

Yeshua said, “Destroy this temple and I will raise it again in three days” (Jn2:19), because
Through the death and the resurrection of the temple of His body,
He would tear down the promise of seed (flesh and blood) and the land of Canaan, and
Make a promise of the possession of a new heaven and a new earth to all souls of men.

As He died, He said. “It is finished” (Jn19:30), declaring that He:
1) Gave His soul to the Father and acknowledged the Father’s eternal possession (Lk23:46);
2) Condemned the devil who stole and forcefully took possession (Jn10:10; 1Jn3:8); and
3) With His blood purchased the souls given into His hands and offered them to the Father (Jn17:6-7, 9; Rev5:9).

The Father raised Him up and Yeshua ascended to the heavenly throne with
All authorities in heaven and on earth given to Him (Mt28:18; Col1:16; He1:2).

The Holy Spirit whom He sent
Came to give the name Yeshua as possession to those born again in His blood (Jn1:12), and
Lets them fulfill the Father’s will to give eternal life to those who believe in the Son, and
The Son’s desire to raise up in the last day
All those given to Him and also those who believe in Him because of them (Jn6:40, 17:20).

Therefore, the man of the Spirit is he who
Fights to death to
Not easily let go of those given into his hands and give them life (Mt14:16-21; Jn3:1-11), and
Pray in His name to receive the answer that is already promised (Mt6:32-33; Jn1:12, 14:13), for
He longs to confidently enter through the opened gates of heaven
In the last day with all those the Lord has given him.

O Lord,
In that day!
Let not even one of all those You have given me become lost.
I strive for this in tears (Ac20:31).
Let me not lose even one! Amen.
